Aniyat RUH Academy — Academic and Islamic learning, one adaptive path

What this is

Aniyat RUH Academy is used by children, at home and in schools. This statement sets out what the product does to keep them safe, and what it deliberately does not do.

The design decisions that matter most

There is no messaging. Children cannot contact each other, cannot contact adults through the app, and cannot receive messages. There is no chat, no comments and no forum.
Children cannot upload anything. No photographs, no files, no free text that anyone else will see.
Children have no public profile. A child's name and work are visible to the parent or teacher whose account they sit under, and to nobody else.
A child never has their own login or email address. They reach their learning through the adult who added them.
No advertising, and nothing to buy inside the app. A child cannot be sold anything or shown an advert.

Content

Every lesson is written or reviewed by an adult before a child can open it. Lessons that make a religious claim carry their sources and are held in review until they are approved — until then they are invisible in the app, not merely unlisted. Where a lesson includes Quran recitation, it is a recording we hold a licence to use.

Who can see a child's record

The parent or guardian on the account, and — in a school — the staff that school has given access to. Our own staff can reach records only where it is necessary to run or fix the service, and that access is logged.

Reporting a concern

If something in the app worries you — a lesson, a piece of content, or the behaviour of the product — write to safeguarding@aniyatruh.com and we will answer within two working days.

If a child is at immediate risk of harm, contact the police on 999, or your local authority children's services. We are a learning platform, not an emergency service, and we cannot act on a disclosure in the way a school or social worker can.
