Why We Created Aniyat RUH Academy
"As I watched my three children constantly drawn to their mobile devices, I realized we were facing a crisis. Hours upon hours spent on apps that entertained but didn't educate, that occupied their minds but didn't nurture their souls."
The Wake-Up Call
The moment that changed everything came during a family gathering. I observed my children—bright, curious minds—completely absorbed in games and videos that offered nothing meaningful. Meanwhile, when it came time for Islamic learning or even basic academic work, they showed little interest. The same devices that captivated them for hours suddenly became sources of resistance when used for education.
I realized the problem wasn't the technology itself, but how we were using it. These powerful devices could be vehicles for profound learning and spiritual growth, yet we were settling for digital distractions.
A Father's Dilemma
Like many Muslim parents, I faced an impossible choice. The mainstream educational apps had sleek interfaces and engaging content that held my children's attention, but they were completely devoid of Islamic values. My children were learning math and English, but nothing that connected them to their Creator, their purpose, or their rich Islamic heritage.
On the other hand, the Islamic educational resources available—while sincere in intention—felt outdated and couldn't compete with the polished, interactive experiences my children had grown accustomed to. It became clear that they were designed in a different era, before we understood how to truly engage young minds through technology.
I found myself asking: "Why should my children have to choose between world-class education and Islamic values? Why can't they have both?"
The Vision Unfolds
The idea for Aniyat RUH Academy wasn't born from business ambition—it emerged from a deep parental need. I wanted to build something I would trust with my own children's education and spiritual development. Something that would make them excited to learn, while ensuring every lesson strengthened both their minds and their connection to Allah.
The name "Aniyat RUH" reflects our core mission: "Aniyat" (care/nurturing) for the "RUH" (soul/spirit). This isn't just about filling young minds with information—it's about nurturing the complete child, ensuring their academic growth goes hand-in-hand with spiritual development.
Every Muslim child deserves to feel that their faith enhances their learning, not competes with it. They should see Islamic values as the foundation that makes all other knowledge more meaningful, not as something separate from "real" education.
💝 A Mother's Legacy
"Every good deed that reaches people after a person's death is Sadaqah Jariyah - continuing charity that benefits the doer even after they have passed away."
This platform serves as sadaqah jariyah in memory of my beloved mother, whose duas and sacrifices shaped who I am today. She always emphasized that the best investment we can make is in the education and spiritual development of children—not just our own, but all the children of the ummah.
Every child who learns through Aniyat RUH Academy, every family that grows stronger in their faith and knowledge, every moment of genuine Islamic learning that takes place—all of this becomes part of her continuing legacy. This is how we honor those who raised us: by ensuring their values live on in the next generation.
May Allah accept this effort and make it a source of ongoing reward for her and benefit for the entire Muslim ummah. Ameen.
Beyond Personal Need
What started as a solution for my own children quickly evolved into something much larger. I began to see the broader crisis facing Muslim families worldwide. Parents everywhere were struggling with the same dilemma: how to give their children the best possible education while preserving and strengthening their Islamic identity.
This platform represents our opportunity to revolutionize Islamic education for the modern ummah. Not by abandoning traditional values, but by presenting them through mediums that resonate with today's children. Not by competing with technology, but by harnessing it to serve our highest aspirations for our children's development.
The Challenge We're Addressing
Muslim families worldwide face a difficult choice: high-quality mainstream educational apps that lack Islamic integration, or Islamic educational resources that don't meet modern academic standards.
Our children are drawn to modern, engaging technology, but existing Islamic educational platforms often can't compete with mainstream apps in terms of user experience and educational effectiveness.
Aniyat RUH Academy bridges this gap by combining the technological sophistication of leading educational platforms with authentic Islamic content, creating an experience that children love and parents trust.
Our Revolutionary Approach
🧠 An Adaptive Learning Path
Skills are mapped as a graph, so the next lesson is chosen from what your child has already shown they can do. We do not generate religious content on the fly for a child — every lesson is written and checked before anyone sees it.
📚 Reviewed Before It Goes Live
Anything making an Islamic claim is flagged, carries its sources, and stays invisible to children until it is approved — enforced in the software, not just in policy. That review is currently done by our founder rather than an external scholarly panel, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
🔇 No Feeds, No Strangers
There is no messaging, no public profile, no leaderboard and no advertising. A child's account is visible to their parent and to nobody else. We removed the social features we had built rather than ship them.
Our Vision for the Future
We want every Muslim child to have an education that strengthens their academic ability and their Islamic identity at the same time, rather than making them choose. That is the ambition. What exists today is one age band, done properly, for families in the UK — and the next step is always the next band, not the next country.

The adaptive path is built and the first band of lessons — maths, English, Islamic studies and science — is written and approved. A small closed beta with real families comes before anyone can pay.

🌍 Who It Is For First
UK home-educating families, ages 7–9
Schools come after that, and more age bands after those. Your family's records are held in the UK or the EEA.
Why So Narrow To Start?
Because one age band done properly is worth more than five done thinly. UK home-educating families are the people we can serve completely today — one curriculum, one set of expectations, and a group we can actually talk to while we get it right. Everything else waits its turn.

Aniyat RUH Academy is being built for families first, and for schools next — one flat price for the whole school, never per pupil. The teacher-facing side is not built yet and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If you run a school or madrasah and want a say in what it should do, we would genuinely rather hear from you now than after it is written.
